gina zucker is a writer and professor based in brooklyn, new york

gina has published fiction, essays and articles in the following journals, websites, magazines and newspapers: tin house, tin house online, hobart, 05401, salt hill, failbetter, eyeshot, opium, esme, tuenight, elle, self, cosmopolitan, rolling stone, gq, us, redbook, seven days vermont, babble (bought and shut down by disney), vermont times (now seven days), and in a catalogue for artist meg lipke: the woman in the painting has left. her work has appeared in the anthologies labor day (fsg), before (overlook press), fantastic women (tin house books), and altared (vintage).

she graduated with a bachelors in english and american literature from washington university in st. louis and has her mfa in fiction from the new school. she teaches in the writing department at pratt institute, where she also organizes readings and other literary events. she has received a merit scholarship from the new school, a vermont studio center fellowship, faculty mellon grants from pratt, and a residency at saltonstall. she is working on a novel.
